Villa Rica’s Pine Mountain Gold Museum became a Hollywood movie set this week for a feature film starring two of the biggest actors in the business. One scene from “Killing Season,” starring Robert De Niro and John Travolta, was shot on Pine Mountain, using the manway tunnel that was once used to haul gold ore from one side of the mountain to the other.
