‘Killing Season’, starring Jon Travolta & Robert De Niro, begins filming in Rabun County, GA this week.Robert DeNiro and John Travolta are set to begin filming the suspense movie Killing Season this week in Rabun County, GA.
As we mentioned, the movie was expected to begin filming at various locations in Georgia this month.The film’s director, Mark Steven Johnson, reportedly chose the Rabun Co. area for the effect he wanted after seeing the 1972 film Deliverance, which was also shot in the area.Filming in Rabun County is expected to take about 10 days and is scheduled to happen at Tallulah Gorge State Park and Black Rock Mountain State Park.In the movie, DeNiro plays a military veteran living in a remote mountain cabin. He is paid a visit by by a man (played by Travolta) who turns out to be a former Serbian soldier looking for revenge.
