July 30, 2012 STOPOVER IN SINGAPORE: John Travolta flew his family into Singapore Sunday as part of a round-the-world holiday but spent Monday promoting a limited edition watch recently launched by Breitling to mark the 60th anniversary of its Navitimer Chronograph, touted as the oldest mechanical chronograph watch still in production. At a press conference, Travolta said he hopes his next acting turn will be in a remake of The Killers, a 1989 Hong Kong action movie directed by John Woo.
"I'm hoping it will but am not sure… I'll have to meet Mr. Woo and find out," he said. Breitling's press representatives made the unusual move of sending out an email before the press conference encouraging journalists to ask Travolta, who is facing sexual harassment allegations, about his family. In response to a question about the allegations, Travolta merely said: "My family is having a blast traveling around the world. We're having a good time on the road." Travolta will attend a party at Pangaea, a super club owned by American nightlife magnate Michael Ault, Monday night.

June 18, 2012 “Extra’s” Jerry Penacoli sat down with John Travolta in an exclusive interview, in which the actor, who was promoting his upcoming turn in the Oliver Stone thriller “Savages,” told Penacoli his 20-year marriage to Kelly Preston has helped him through the rough spots.“We've always been stable with each other,” said Travolta. “We use our communication skills. We understand what is going in life.” John continued, “I think the toughest part was just the loss of our son and once we were able to get through that -- and times we didn't think we were going to -- I think we figured we could handle anything… Everything else pales in comparison.” As for his career, Travolta is already getting great reviews as a corrupt federal agent in “Savages,” partnering with pot growers played by Aaron Johnson and Taylor Kitsch and going up against Mexican drug lords played by Salma Hayek and Benecio del Toro.  The Hollywood couple celebrated the milestone anniversary last year (11), when the stars became parents for the third time to son Benjamin, but Preston admits it hasn't always been an easy ride and they have had to work on maintaining a loving relationship through the years. In an interview with socialite Amanda De Cadenet for her U.S. show The Conversation, Preston says, "Really in life, to stay married (you have) to keep finding out about the person and wanting to be together, because there's so many things that you work through... Going through huge highs and amazing lows, and being able to navigate that... and keep checking in and creating it (a strong relationship), because it doesn't happen on its own." Preston insists keeping each other laughing has been the key to their relationship: "A marriage, people think, 'Oh, you just let it happen.' No, you need to create it and keep it fun and keep it alive and funny. We laugh, I think that's one of our biggest things together." And the actress reveals she still finds herself physically attracted to Travolta, whatever shape he's in. She adds, "He's hot... He looks amazing now, he's lost so much weight and he's been working out, but yet I love him when he was 20 pounds heavier, and thought he was really hot."
