The Australian airline made this evening a ceremony to inaugurate its first flight from Chile to Sydney.La Qantas this afternoon held a ceremony to inaugurate its first flight from Chile to Sydney, Australia.The occasion was attended by the ambassador of the airline, actor John Travolta, linked to the company after acquiring a Boeing 707.Wally Mariani, senior executive vice president The Americas and Pacific, announced that the company trips will be in first place three times a week, Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.Mariani said that Chile is a major connection point to other destinations and it is also "this is the gateway for Lan, our partner of One World".In terms of projections in the Chilean market for Qantas, Mariani said, "we start with three flights a week that is prudent, but we hope to reach a daily flight, so everything looks good."Meanwhile, the actor of hits like Grease, said he was happy to visit Chile and "very proud to be part of this maiden voyage linking the two countries great."
